Herbal ANTI VENOM for Snake bite
Scientists from Kerala University and Kerala State Biodiversity Board came up with herbal anti venom from "KEERI PACHAI OR KEERI PURANDAN"- "Ophiorrizha mungos" through animal studies. This lead was taken from folklore practice of tribal of western ghats. Extract of this plant is found to be effective in neutralizing Russel viper venom and preventing coagulation process as well.
