DECREASING FERTILITY INDEX IN MALES
Research studies conducted in last 20 years reveals that total sperm count is reduced by 1/3rd in males due to changed lifestyle and diet habits. Smoking, alcohol consumption, increased intake of fatty, oily substances, obesity, chemical oriented drugs, stress are the fundamental reasons observed. So in India, execution of sterilization procedures and adoption of contraceptive methods are not at all necessary in future on order to control population. It will come down automatically. After 50 years, Indian government will implement some attractive schemes for the public to promote child birth.

One child , 8 years old, was brought to me at Santhigiri Ayurveda & Siddha Hospital, Thrissur, with the complaints of spastic limbs , disorientation, difficulty in articulation, unusual posture, involuntary movements of the head and limbs, scissors gait etc. and he was diagnosed as cerebral palsy. Some complex mechanisms are also going on parallel in the development of his physical disability.
He was given Santhigiri's Classical Siddha & Ayurveda medicines for three months. Fourth month is going on.
He started walking without support two weeks ago for the first time in his life, which made parents immense happiness. He can able to walk few meters. He walked in front of me, three days back during my visit there. I noticed tears from his mother due to happiness on watching this phenomenal change. In fact i could not find enough words to describe my feelings had at that moment.

Herbal ANTI VENOM for Snake bite
Scientists from Kerala University and Kerala State Biodiversity Board came up with herbal anti venom from "KEERI PACHAI OR KEERI PURANDAN"- "Ophiorrizha mungos" through animal studies. This lead was taken from folklore practice of tribal of western ghats. Extract of this plant is found to be effective in neutralizing Russel viper venom and preventing coagulation process as well.
